“Maybe I’m naive”

A strange title to a song isn’t it? Yet to me it’s the way lookers-on see my position as a Christian. Sometimes it all comes down to plain trust. God works with our desire and ability to trust Him and He enriches the believer’s life through answering our calls as He sees fit. All this seemingly irrational behaviour can only be understood when one comes to know Christ personally.

“The Potter and the Clay”

“The Potter and the clay” was one of the first songs that arose from the need to sing songs from within my personal experiences.

As the Holy Spirit counselled me on one of my more difficult days – difficult in terms of accepting myself for who I really am in every way – I began to see how precious it is to be made to reflect Him, yet at the same time we seem to retain our very intricate individualities! Perhaps we will learn greater truths about this as we grow closer to Him.
