The media people from SYFC web have been quiet lately… and many may be wondering why.

Nope, we were not slacking. In fact, the web stooges* have been working hard on a new look for SYFC web 2.0! It is coming within days of this post… so watch for it!

More details and changes will come along, and as the jpg reads, do bear with us as we labor for the sake of the gospel and for those who will visit this website.

*YES! In case you thought gazillions of us run the web, there is really only ONE staff, TWO working volunteers and FEW ad hoc contributors behind this monster. We are always on the lookout for like-minded believers who skilled in web design, illustration, flash/php programming and many other media skills.

After a few days of troubleshooting… we have finally got the video highlights of the Playmax dry run up and running on the SYFC pages! On the actual day, there will be at least three times as many things happening! So what are you waiting for???

During our dry run last sat, we did the ’stress-testings’ so we can reduce the hassles for you and whoever’s coming on 12 - 13 Jun!

So what are you waiting for? Play to the Max this June!

Here’s a short glimpse into the life of one of the YG project servants… let’s see what got him into YG:

“I find that serving God and reaching out to youths is much more meaningful and exciting than working in a fast-food restaurant. Working here is an opportunity for me to see how God works in the lives of the youths, and also a chance for me to learn more about evangelism.”

Here in YG, project servants have opportunities to study the Bible with others regularly, and Yi Tao is inspired by the passage in Psalms 51 where King David pleaded with God to restore to him the joy of God’s salvation so that He may ‘teach transgressors God’s ways’. He hopes to share that same passion to share the Gospel with youths.

Yi Tao has been serving in the Christian Fellowship faithfully on Saturdays and plays the guitar to lead singspiration… He gives thanks God for teaching him through the recent camp where he was involved in planning - even though all the youths who were meant to be there did not turn up, the Lord brought other youths and the program went ahead to materialize! The Gospel was also shared to these boys that God provided… Here, Yi Tao learns that he needs to choose to trust in Him alone. 

Yi Tao will be embarking on his poly studies soon after his project serve stint. He continues to serve God in YG as a volunteer… to grow in faith, to learn about God and to fulfill God’s kingdom work in this journey as His disciple.  

Do join him in prayer and  pray for him, as well as many other project servants who have and will come seeking to learn and serve our Great King and Heavenly Father. May they be found faithful as His servants as they move on to another phase of their study life.
