The media people from SYFC web have been quiet lately… and many may be wondering why.
Nope, we were not slacking. In fact, the web stooges* have been working hard on a new look for SYFC web 2.0! It is coming within days of this post… so watch for it!
More details and changes will come along, and as the jpg reads, do bear with us as we labor for the sake of the gospel and for those who will visit this website.
*YES! In case you thought gazillions of us run the web, there is really only ONE staff, TWO working volunteers and FEW ad hoc contributors behind this monster. We are always on the lookout for like-minded believers who skilled in web design, illustration, flash/php programming and many other media skills.
Hey, the media team recently conducted a really short and simple animation class and we are showcasing the works of the participants here! As with the spirit of the season, you can download them and send them to your friends for keeps!

We found our Crew for Christ! Our latest video production is a parable retold in a modern context.
After 3 weeks of preparation and 3 days of shoot, it’s a wrap!! It’s a film shoot with the biggest crew by far… We all thank the Lord for giving us all we need- the good weather and most importantly, the right focus to get the job done in a right way

Media Ministry is looking for a video production crew!
We’re going to produce a short film based on a parable Jesus told!
You don need the know-hows, we can teach you! All you need is an interest in movie-making, a desire to share the gospel to your friends through this short film and of course… u must want to have fun this holidays!! Cos we’re not all about work! There’ll be special outings too during our one-month stint
So, if you know of any Christian friends aged between 12- 16 and may be keen for this event, ask them to join us!

Playmax is over and as we recall the process: We brainstormed/preped/publicised/trained/prayed and most importantly, Shared To The Max! over the 2 days of the event. It was a tiring and busy 2 days but it was definitely worth the while! Indeed, if we are to be exhausted, there is no better cause than to be exhausted for the work and glory of our Lord and Saviour!
Media invited our volunteers right after for POST MAX! While the memory is fresh on our minds and hearts, we decided to come together for a thanksgiving. We have SO much to give thanks for!
1. Participants- Abt 3,000! (not including group hosts and marshals)
2. Partners (various churches and christian organisations)
3. Program & People (committee)
Because many of our volunteers were busy on the actual days hosting their groups or taking photos/ video, we decided to chill out by playing Wii! (our own “cybermax” in EH!) Oh boy, it was so much fun!! I’m sure many of us woke up the next morning with aching arms after playing Wii tennis/ boxing etc.
But all in all, we had a jolly time over wii, dinner and just being able to share about what we had learnt and to pray together as brothers and sisters-in-Christ…The battle for souls has only just began so dear friends, do keep praying for us as we now move into Follow-Up work…

After a few days of troubleshooting… we have finally got the video highlights of the Playmax dry run up and running on the SYFC pages! On the actual day, there will be at least three times as many things happening! So what are you waiting for???
Heh… I was cleaning the camera today and then I realized there are a lot of non-living friends on our tables, given by a lot of living friends. So I did some shots for fun.

The team, made up of the ever-creative and crazy media folks (that’s us) and our Project Servants (youths like you), been doing some ‘experimenting’ on how we can tell the Truth behind Good Friday and Easter to our friends, point blank and without apologies.
Even as I type, we’re still in the midst of production… so stay tuned.. We’ll be announcing the release soon enough!
